Selling a travel blog for $500,000 in the next 12-18 months.

Hey fellow blogger! Every month I send out a video update of how much money my Colorado travel blog earns. I want to give you a true sense of what it’s like to “make money blogging” from someone who has been blogging since 2011.

Who am I and why am I sharing this?

I’m Carrie Smith Nicholson. I leveraged my background as an accountant to start my first blog, CarefulCents.com. I used this blog as an online resume for my freelance writing work. And my first-ever paying article was from Yahoo! Finance for $14.

After that I become a contributor to The Huffington Post (now called HuffPost) and shared my journey to paying off $14,000 of consumer debt in just over a year.

Fast-forward to October of 2018, I decided to sell my finance blog for $93,500. And it was purchased by MillennialMoney.com (it redirects there now).

A year later, I published a book detailing how I sold my blog and brokered my own sale. You can read all of the ins-and-outs in my Amazon best-selling book, The Ultimate Guide to Selling a Blog.

And now my plan is to sell my new(er) Colorado travel blog, HashtagColoradoLife.com for around $500,000 in the next 12-18 months.

Will you join me on this journey?

I’ve already sold a blog for nearly six figures. I purchased one that I might still work on someday. And I plan to sell my travel blog for half a million dollars.

What is worth right now? Somewhere between $100,000 and $200,000 but you’ll have to subscribe to find out more details!
