Earning $58,786.77 with the travel blog in 2022
Hey there,
Happy 2023! I hope you’re have a great start to the new year.
In this month’s blogging and income report I’m sharing a look at December 2022 as well as an entire year-end summary for how the travel blog did.
If you’re new here, I own the travel blog, Hashtag Colorado Life and I have big goals for growing and selling it in the next year or so.
You can check out my recent newsletters to catch up on the blog’s progress:
I hope you find these updates useful and helpful for growing (and selling!) your own blog in the future.
Now, let’s dive into this month’s blogging income report.

Here are some of the biggest updates I cover in this month’s video report.
Doubling our income from Amazon Associates in December
How much we earned the entire year (and how it compared to 2021)
Hitting more than 5,000 subscribers on YouTube
One of the main things that I’m super proud about is that I was basically able to hit my goal of 50 new posts in 2022 (I actually wrote 49 of them).
Going forward I have a goal of reaching 300 total blog posts by end of this year, with all of them being written by me.
I know it’s a big goal, in addition to publishing YouTube videos more frequently as well. But what else am I going to do this year but work on my business?! 🤷🤣
I’ll have another dedicated update about my goals for 2023 later this month, but my goal is earn $20,000 per month in revenue from the travel blog by year’s end. And I have a few strategies for how to get there.
Don’t forget to subscribe to continue getting these reports and exclusive content!
As a side note: I’m turning 39 at the end of January so I plan to make the last year before my 40s an epic one!
Wish me luck. 😊
Thanks and have a great week.
